Trip to Thailand

We went to Thailand for 2 weeks for vacation. On the first day in Bangkok, we went to Chatuchak market. It has more than 4000 market stalls. There was a boy who was playing a funny instrument where he would blow in a hole then cover up different holes to make a sound.

The hotel we stayed at was called the Feung Nakorn and I really loved it. They had the best fresh pineapple drinks and the staff were all really nice.

The next day we fed the fish at the hotel and took a tuk-tuk to a boat and we went around the canal and saw lots of people feeding wild catfish for good luck.

The next day we went to The Sitting Buddha, The Reclining Buddha, and The Zoo where we saw lots of animals like hippos, a few giraffes which I came face to face with (literally), lots of monkeys, zebras, ostriches, and a tapir.

The next day we went to Chang Mai and stayed at a pink hotel with a really cool pool with a soft waterfall and saw loads of temples throughout the days, swam lots, and walked and walked and walked.

After that, we went to Krabi for 2 days and stayed at a hotel with a warm pool and walked around town, saw some markets and statues. On the second day in Krabi, we went on a tour to James Bond Island! We got to see where James Bond landed his plane in the movie “Man with the Golden Gun” and we also went to a small floating town and saw lots more stuff along the way.

After that, we went to Koh Samui and stayed at a resort with a really really warm pool and a not so warm pool with a swim-up bar. There was really nice staff except for the room cleaners who might have stolen $100 Australian dollars from us because other people have reported money missing and we couldn’t find it. On one of the last days we were there I used my birthday money to pay for a special romantic dinner for mum and dad but I had to tag along and order a separate meal. All in all, it was an awesome trip.
